TWO WRASSLIN’ CATS MURAL

Painting a More Inclusive Future

Two Wrasslin’ Cats Café is teaming up with Public Art for Racial Justice Education (PARJE) to create a powerful new mural right here in East Haddam. This isn’t just about art, it’s building community, telling untold stories, and transforming our town into a lighthouse for human rights.

The mural will highlight five themes:
1) Underrepresented local narratives of people of color
2) LGBTQ+ visibility
3) Women’s reproductive rights
4) Local Paleolithic Native history (did you know there's an archaeological dig on site?)
5) and, of course… CATS!

This project is community-driven and community-funded.

We are looking to raise $7500 by the end of April and these funds will be MATCHED by Sustainable CT. So every dollar we raise counts as 2 dollars towards materials, paying artists and community participation days.
