THE DIFFERENT PARTS OF PARJE

What speaks to you?
RESEARCH - CREATION - ENGAGEMENT

RESEARCH

The Content Development Committee
Work towards understanding and reviewing the places, spaces, stories, and site selection. Many people help feed this committee info, articles, historic docs/links, and stories that could and should be considered as potential content for public art.TASK: The committee members are responsible for public calls for sites/stories/content/artists, sifting through all of the information, developing priorities, recommending content for further evaluation and input, and ultimately selecting the content for the public art.

CREATION

Public Art Creation Committee
Feeding off the outcomes of the content development committee and working towards connecting and working with artists. This committee develops RFPs (mural, sculpture, reimagined monument, etc.) for each site based on recommendations from Content Development Committee, and selecting artist(s) and/or group for each site, budget, and any needs relating to the creation of public art (ownership, insurance, maintenance, etc.).

ENGAGEMENT

Digital And Physical Community Engagement Committee.
Feeding off the above two committees and focus on specific community events and activities related to the project. This includes community input sessions, kick-off events, fundraisers, lectures, community discussions/dialogues, and all of the wrap-around programs that engage the community to inform, support, and participate in the project. This committee also handles all our digital outreach including this website, social media, and press.
